Heidi Robinson
Associate Professor of the Practice in the Department of Education @Wake Forest University
Ms. Heidi Robinson is an Associate Professor of the Practice in the Department of Education, where she teaches and directs the College to Career series of courses. She was hired in 2010 to develop the four-course series and redesign one existing course. During her time at Wake Forest University, she has been nominated and completed the Leadership Development Program, been designated an ACE Scholar for her work in service learning and received the North Carolina Counseling Development New Professional Award. She conducts service work with student athletes, leading professional development for men’s and women’s basketball, football, women’s golf and Student-Athlete Career Development Night. She also serves in a leadership role in the Office of Personal and Career Development.
Brandon Busteed
President, University Partnerships @Kaplan, Inc.
Brandon Busteed leads Kaplan’s work serving U.S. colleges and universities, leveraging the organization’s highly diversified, global educational offerings. His mission is to help U.S. higher education adapt, grow and thrive. Prior to Kaplan, Busteed was Global Head of Public Sector at Gallup, serving higher education, government and foundations. In that role, Busteed led dozens of ground-breaking studies and consulted with hundreds of higher ed leaders. Busteed was the founder and CEO of Outside The Classroom, acquired by EverFi in 2011. Its flagship online courses on alcohol abuse and sexual violence prevention have been taken by more than 10 million college students.
Andy Chan
Vice President for Innovation and Career Development @Wake Forest University
Andy Chan is the Vice President for Innovation and Career Development at Wake Forest University. Chan oversees the nationally-recognized Office of Personal and Career Development and Mentoring Resource Center for students and alumni, the Wake West Study Away program and Silicon Valley Practicum, the WFU Board of Trustees Innovation Committee, and is a strategic advisor for university-wide innovation initiatives including the Center for Entrepreneurship, the School of Professional Studies, and the Leadership and Character program. He also teaches a course on entrepreneurship. Andy is widely viewed as a leader in transforming traditional career services into a mission-critical component of the college experience.
